Luiza Dutra

Researcher

Luiza Correa de Magalhães Dutra is a Researcher and Project Manager at the Reference Institute on Internet and Society (IRIS), Brazil. She holds a PhD in Criminal Sciences with distinction from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS), where she also earned a Master’s degree with honors. She spent one year and three months as a Visiting Researcher at the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa, Canada, supported by CAPES and the Emerging Leaders in the Americas Program (ELAP) scholarship, completed in April 2025. She is a specialist in Public Security, Citizenship and Diversity from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from UFRGS, with an academic exchange at Sciences Po Rennes (France), and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from PUCRS.
