On the one hand, digital platforms reveal almost nothing about the reasons that led to content moderation. On the other hand, some users are suspicious and feel little security in how the platforms operate. The new IRIS study reveals the main complaints of users of the platforms, showing that the lack of transparency impacts the moderation of online content and the public perception of companies.
