Networked knowledges

The Saberes em Rede (Networked knowledges) project connects and empowers community leaders in internet governance through research, educational materials, and innovative teaching-learning strategies—while also offering recommendations for progress in the field. We create spaces for knowledge exchange, where traditional wisdom interacts with the internet and explores alternative technologies beyond the digital realm.

Our initiatives:

  • Study group on alternative technological appropriation methodologies
  • Contributions to public interest issues
  • Public policy monitoring
  • Workshops for drafting proposals for the Internet Forum in Brazil
  • Leadership training course (MiniEGI) in Belo Horizonte, in partnership with CGI.br

Start year: 2024 | Status: Ongoing
Funding:  Brazilian Network Information Center (NIC.br)
