Between posts and controversies: conflict resolution strategies in content moderation on digital platforms

“Between posts and controversies” is a project that proposes an in-depth analysis of the current dispute resolution system regarding moderated content on digital platforms in Brazil and other significant international experiences, as well as mapping alternatives in this area. The central objective is not only to understand current strategies, but also to investigate ways to improve this conflict management process. The objective is, therefore, to provide a clearer and more informed understanding of how controversies related to content moderation can be managed more effectively and transparently in the Brazilian digital context. In this way, greater security for users is expected and the guarantee of legal security, legitimacy and reliability for digital platforms. This initiative also seeks to deepen and take another step in the research that IRIS has already been carrying out on content moderation.
